Mandi orr- Editor
The Literature Factory is so pleased to be able to offer the services of our fabulous independent editor, Mandi! A secondary teacher very familiar with the Australian Curriculum and a literary major herself, Mandi is perfectly placed to offer line editing, manuscript assessments, copy editing and proof reading.
Excuse the use of third person, but Mandi was taught to avoid first person when writing formally. She loves nothing more than sitting in a ratty armchair with a steaming cup of tea and cracking the pages of her latest book. Mandi has a particular fondness for sci-fi, fantasy, romance, chick lit, YA, or a mash up of the aforementioned. But she has read enough of other genres and Literature-with-a-capital-L to be able whip them in to shape too. Mandi also happens to have a Master of Arts in Writing, Editing, and Publishing from UQ, and is an associate member of the Institute of Professional Editors. Mandi offers a variety of services, including structural editing, copy editing, and proofreading (click here for an explanation of what these different services entail). She can either give a quote after viewing samples of your writing, or she can get right to work and charge by the hour. If you wish to work with Mandi or discuss your project further, please get in touch! |
